Role and Responsibility

Export & Shipping
  • Organize national and international transports by courier, air-, sea, or road freights of our dual-use drone systems, spare parts and accessories
  • Ensure correct packing, labeling, and declaration of our dangerous goods shipments (lithium-ion batteries)
  • Classification of goods (Harmonized Tariff Schedule / Export Classification) and requesting export licenses
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations
  • Correspondence with authorities, shipper and suppliers in German and English
 
Order Processing
  • End‑to‑end order processing within the ERP system, from first order entry to final shipment release 
  • Ongoing maintenance of customer, item and shipping master data
  • Coordination with internal stakeholders
 
Interfaces & Coordination
  • Support with the documentation of shipments and continuous improvement of export and logistics related processes
  • Support of internal departments and external partners

Your profile

  • Completed commercial or technical training in relevant area
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position in a Swiss-based company
  • Experience and background knowledge about customs formalities and procedures (export/import, Carnet ATA, inward processing in repair traffic)
  • Experience with ERP-systems
  • Very good team, communication, and troubleshooting skills
  • Service- & customer-oriented mindset
  • High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
  • Willingness to solve problems
  • Fluent in englisch – written and spoken
  • Experience with M365 (Sharepoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • A strong can-do/will-do attitude

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in shipping dangerous goods is a plus
  • Further legal training in the field of trade compliance
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
  • German: B2 - Upper Intermediate language, any third language is a plus
